What we're seeing
At PS 17, chronic absenteeism has risen 67% over the 5-year window — from 33.9% in 2015 to 56.5% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 5.9% above in 2015 to 28.5% above in 2020.
