At Castro Valley, the student:teacher ratio has fallen 14% over the 5-year window — from 27.9:1 in 2020 to 23.9:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 12.5:1 above in 2020 to 8.5:1 above in 2024.
