About
School overview

At Folkestone Primary, our priority is for children to develop a love of learning, inspired by quality first teaching. We work tirelessly to ensure that our children enjoy a stimulating and diverse education; learning is irresistible, children are happy, feel safe and valued. Our curriculum vision is to inspire children to reach for success and become passionate, resilient, lifelong learners and set them up for the next stage in their education. The school is committed to improving outcomes in reading, writing and maths for the pupils we serve so that all pupils, especially the most vulnerable, can be successful. Provide an inclusive setting enabling every child to reach their potential. Go the extra mile – care and nurture the next generation. Establish great relationships by never giving up on a child and remove any barriers to learning, creating new possibilities. Build strong, collaborative partnerships with families and the local community. Develop a learning culture throughout the school through high quality professional development for all staff. Celebrate each child's uniqueness, individuality, talents and achievements. Offer an extensive range of enrichment opportunities (Turner 25) that they may not otherwise experience. Folkestone Primary is proudly part of the Turner Schools Trust.
