The Phoenix Primary School and Nursery School Uniform Policy Reviewed: January 2026 Date of next review: January 2027 School Uniform It is the policy of the Governing Body that all pupils attending the School should wear prescribed uniform and colours. The Governing Body has identified the following reasons for the value and importance of the School’s uniform requirements. • It helps foster positive attitudes and high standards. • It helps pupils develop and identify a sense of belonging to the whole-School community. • All children are seen as equal, in dress at least, regardless of individual families’ financial circumstances. • From a security aspect, the wearing of the School uniform enables staff to readily recognise pupils, especially when pupils are out of the School during educatio…
