At Unsworth we have school uniform that pupils are required to wear. This encourages pupils to be smart, avoids unpleasant comparisons or competition over clothes and ensures that clothing does not detract from school work. Please can parents and carers ensure all items of clothing or equipment are marked clearly with the child’s name. The wearing of jewellery is not allowed, except for stud type earrings, which should be either removed or taped for PE lessons. We ask that any watches worn are not expensive ones in case they are mislaid and extremes of fashion in hairstyles and colours are not allowed (natural hair colours only).
